DONE-FOR-YOU ADS + FUNNELS
You’ve optimized, tweaked, triple-checked your sales page and still… crickets. That “why the heck isn’t anyone buying?” feeling? Yeah, it’s more common than most will admit.
You’ve got the offer. The design is clean. The price point makes sense. And yet, sales are few and far between.
It’s not that your sales page is broken. It’s just not doing enough of the right kind of heavy lifting.
And no, you probably don’t need to scrap it and start over with a blank Google Doc and a big ol’ existential crisis.
Sometimes your copy just needs a little tough love. A few smart tweaks. Maybe a better hook and a clearer call to action.
Let’s talk about why your sales page might be falling flat and how to fix it without rewriting the whole thing from scratch.
You have about 3 seconds to grab someone’s attention when they land on your sales page. If your headline sounds like every other headline in your niche, your reader is already half-scrolling away.
Your headline should answer one key question: Why should I care right now?
Instead of: “A 6-Week Group Program for Coaches”
Try: “Still stuck Googling what to post? Here’s how to plan a month of content in 60 minutes or less”
Think tension. Think benefit. Think of the moment your dream client realizes you might actually have the thing they need.
Course creators love to describe their offers in terms of the modules.
But your reader isn’t looking for Module 4: “Mindset Shifts and Brand Clarity.” They’re looking for the result they get after working with you.
Instead of describing the structure, focus on the shift. What will change in their life, business, or mindset because of your program?
A great sales page doesn’t just say, “Here’s what you get.” It says, “Here’s who you get to become.”
If your sales page sounds like it could apply to any business owner or coach on the internet, it won’t connect deeply with anyone.
Specificity sells. Your reader should feel like the copy was written just for them.
Use phrases they would actually say. Reference the exact pain points they vent about in DMs. Call out the situations they’re quietly navigating behind the scenes.
Example: Instead of: “This program is perfect for anyone who wants to grow their business.”
Try: “You’ve got a course idea, a tiny-but-mighty email list, and zero clue how to launch without burning out.”
Sometimes the problem isn’t what you’re saying. It’s how it’s laid out.
If your page is one long block of text or an endless scroll of identical section styles, your reader can’t scan effectively. And if they can’t scan, they usually bounce.
Here’s what to check for:
You don’t need to become a designer. But your layout should guide the reader naturally from curiosity to clarity to conversion.
And please, please, please, don’t forget about white space! Remember, your sections need space to breathe. Try not to put too much content (especially long paragraphs) too close together.
If your sales page assumes your reader is already sold, you might be skipping too many steps.
Most people need to feel seen, safe, and supported before they buy. Especially with high-ticket or time-intensive offers.
Here’s how to layer in more trust:
You’d be surprised how many sales pages forget to guide the reader.
A vague CTA like “Join Now” can leave them wondering, “Join what? Then what happens?”
Your button doesn’t need to be a paragraph—but it does need to point clearly to what’s next.
Think: short, specific, and focused on the benefit or action.
Instead of: “Join Now”
Try:
The goal? Make the next step feel obvious, doable, and worth clicking right now. It might seem minimal or even inconsequential, but that subtle reminder or clarity of what comes next is comforting for your buyer to see. We want them to feel confident and safe to click to the next step (your checkout!).
Grab your current sales page and scan it section by section. Ask yourself:
You don’t need to rewrite everything. You just need to tighten what’s already there.
And sometimes, the difference between a page that gets clicks and a page that converts is just a few smart tweaks.
If you’re done tinkering and want someone to take your words from “fine” to high-converting, I offer done-for-you launch copy for course creators and online offers.
Because great offers deserve great messaging. And you shouldn’t have to write it all yourself.
